Barkbusters VPS Handguard (BMW G650 XChallenge & XCountry, '07-)
Barkbusters VPS Handguards feature an ergonomically designed aluminum alloy backbone, offering heavy duty protection while keeping the compact profile needed for trail riding on a full sized adventure bike. The backbone included in this kit is bent differently than the standard VPS handguard. Includes some parts specifically for this model. Available with VPS Plastics or Storm plastics.
Which plastics should I choose—VPS or Storm?
VPS:
- Included variable height wind deflector allows you to adjust how much wind protection you need—or run without it for a smaller profile
- Optional replaceable black supermoto skidplates are available—they protect the aluminum backbone in a low-side crash
- Available in black, blue, green, orange, pink, red, silver, white and yellow
Storm:
- Wraps around the top, bottom and side of the hand more than the VPS plastics (even with wind deflector!) to offer maximum protection from wind, rain and snow
- Oversized profile makes storm plastics less suited to tight, offroad, single track use
- Not compatible with supermoto skidplates or variable height wind deflectors
- Available only in black
